IIM Ahemdabad’s ePGD-ABA programme is designed to prepare working professionals for career growth in the frontier areas of applied analytics and provide them with modern solutions to modern business challenges. Applicants can easily complete this 16-months-long course while continuing their jobs. This programme creates a strong foundation for analytic roles in various fields, including Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR and Public Policy. Upon completing this course, individuals, even those from non-analytics backgrounds, can strongly understand data analysis in the current business ecosystem.
Eligibility
Aspirants must meet the following eligibility criteria to get admission to the ePost-Graduate Diploma in Advanced Business Analytics at IIMA.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree and strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Applicants must have a valid GMAT, GATE, CAT or GRE score. Qualifying score at the ePGD-ABA qualifying-cum-aptitude test is applicable too.
- Applicants must have 2 years of minimum work experience. Work experience in the field of business analytics is preferable. However, candidates with exceptional academic records can be considered exceptions.
Admission process
IIM Ahemdabad’s ePGD-ABA programme’s application process includes the following two steps.
- Fill out an online form on  Jaro Education’s website.
- Submit the duly filled application form.
IIMA has stopped taking applications for the first round of ePGD-ABA admission. However, aspirants can apply for round 2 via Jaro Education’s website for the same
Online application form
During the online application form fill-up, applicants must enter four types of information. Any application missing any of the following information will not be selected for further evaluation.
General information
It includes personal details and mandatory test scores. Remember to upload the test score sheets and a recent photograph in this section.
Educational qualifications
Educational qualification refers to qualifications starting from a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants are required to upload transcripts of each academic credential mentioned in the form.
Employment details
Information on current employment and all previous employment (if any) must be mentioned in this section. The documents to be uploaded are the offer letter for current employment and the experience certificate, certificate of service or the first and last payslips of previous employment.
Statement of purpose
Applicants should write a convincing statement of purpose highlighting their future goals. A digital or scanned signature must be on the submitted document.
Admission test and waiver
Applicants who do not hold a valid GMAT, GATE, CAT or GRE score can appear for the ePGD-ABA qualifying-cum-aptitude test. It is a 1 hour and 30 minutes-long written test. Due to the pandemic situation, the test will be held online.

Final selection
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a personal interview following application screening. The interview will be held online via video conference. Candidates selected after the personal interviews will be notified via mail on previously announced dates.

Curriculum
The curriculum is focused on learning the powerful conceptual foundations of Applied Analytics. It consists of thorough coursework and interactive learning. There will be capstone projects as well. While on-campus immersion is mandatory, online-live lectures, weekend classes and post-work timings are also available.
