Eligibility Criteria - IIM Kozhikode - Advanced Management Programme


  • Graduates (10+2+3) or Diploma Holders (only 10+2+3) from a recognized university (UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government/recognised international universities) in any discipline
  • Candidates, having completed graduation, should have a minimum of 06 years of work experience.
  • Candidates, having completed post graduation, should have a minimum of 04 years of work experience.

Assessment & Evaluation - IIM Kozhikode - Advanced Management Programme


  • The evaluation methodology is the discretion of the faculty. The methodology includes online quizzes, case analysis, class contribution, assignments, and any other component as decided by the faculty.
  • A minimum of 75% attendance is a prerequisite for the successful completion of this programme. All participants must secure minimum passing marks in the evaluation components specified by the faculty.
  • Those who successfully complete the same and satisfy the requisite attendance criteria will be awarded a ‘Certificate of Completion.’
  • The participants who are unable to clear the evaluation criteria but have the requisite attendance will be awarded a ‘Participation Certificate.’

IIM Kozhikode- Advanced Management Programme may require participants to work on individual/group assignments and or projects. The main objective of such assignments/projects will be to help the participants apply their conceptual learning of the programme to actual organizational decision scenarios.

Professor - IIM Kozhikode

Professor Adhikari was a visiting researcher to Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University, USA and Commonwealth Academic Fellow – London Business School, UK. He was a doctoral Fellow of Royal Statistical Society London, UK. Professor Adhikari has taught as a co-instructor in post-graduate programs for executives with leading international faculties from Cornell University and Syracuse University. He has taught as adjunct faculty in many business schools abroad and several IIMs in India.

Dr. Adhikari has published several books and case studies from highly reputed international publishers. He has conducted executive education and management development programs for more than 15000 middle and senior management executives working in Fortune 500 companies, large Indian companies and public sector organizations.

Faculty Fellow, Information Systems Chairperson, Forum for Living Rights, IIM Kozhikode

Dr. Deepa Sethi is Professor, Business Communication and Chairperson of PGP Liberal Studies & Management at Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. With more than 15 years of teaching, research and consulting experience, she specializes in business communication, soft skills, social media communication, HR communication, advanced corporate communication and cross cultural communication. She has published in high impact factor ABDC A* and A ranked journals including International Journal of Information Management, International Journal of Hospitality Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Global Information Management.

Prof. Sethi has been trained in ‘Participant-centred Learning’ at Harvard Business School. She is the recipient of the prestigious “Prof. Indira Parikh 50 Women in Education Leaders Award” in 2019. Dr. Prantika Ray

Assistant Professor - Department of Information Systems Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode

Dr. Prantika Ray is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode. She is one of the only nine global awardees of the prestigious Paul R. Lawrence Fellowship at the North American Case Research Association 2021. She has earned her PhD (fellow) in management from the Human Resources Management (HRM) from the esteemed Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. She has developed and taught several courses to post graduate students across various institutes.

She is also involved in training working executives and senior leaders across eminent organizations in reputed multinational companies. She has worked in various capacities in multiple consulting assignments in public-sector and private-sector companies across the globe. She has published in reputed peer reviewed journals like International Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Global Mobility, Indian Journal of Industrial Relations and Human Resource Management International Digest. She has co-authored multiple case studies that are registered with the Harvard Business School Publishing and Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad Case Centre. About IIM Kozhikode


IIM Kozhikode has pioneered the Interactive-Learning (I-L) Programme for working executives in India. The interactive learning programme started with 300 class contact hours in 2001-02, the two-year-long Executive Management Education Programme is today the most rigorous available in the country having around 738 class contact hours.

The institute moved to its new campus in January 2003 and the number of programs increased manifold with this step. The training activity is expected to witness further growth with the latest 64 room executive hostel and the construction of a modern 200-bed management development complex. The Institute today is a leader in Faculty Development Programmes (FDP), conducting the largest number of programmes (18) totalling 20 weeks in 2008-09, and is the major QIP (Quality Improvement Programme) Centre of the All Indian Council of Technical Education, in the field of management education.
