IIT Bombay’s Chief Technology Officer Programme prepares experienced technology leaders to navigate and excel in today’s complex digital landscape. Eligibility Criteria
Registrations are based on academic and professional background, relevant work experience, and performance in the interview. Candidate profiles will be reviewed and shortlisted by the Programme Coordinators.
- Education: Graduation (preferably in Science/Engineering) from a recognized university
- Current Role: VP – Engineering/Technology, Technical Directors, Chief Architects, or equivalent senior positions
- Experience: 8 to 20 years of professional experience
- Career Aspiration: Senior managers from SMEs or large enterprises aiming to transition into CXO-level roles
- Budget Authority: Must manage a technology budget of INR 10 crore or more
Assessment
- Case study-based descriptive exam: 30%
- Group projects and presentations: 50%
- Individual assignments: 20%

Certificate of Completion/Participation from Educational Outreach, IIT Bombay.
- Students will be considered for the award of Post Graduate Certificate if they complete the minimum requirement of 16 credits. Further, the following criteria apply.
- CGPA of at least 1.50 in the program.
- Excellent/Good/Satisfactory grade in the Capstone Project
- If participants fail to meet the above criteria, they will be awarded only the certificate of participation.
- The grade sheet will be awarded only if they meet the above criteria.
