This is a 5-month course delivered through an Interactive Live Online format. Designed with working professionals in mind, the sessions are conveniently scheduled on Sundays, running from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: A graduation degree (3 years) from a recognized university.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience.
- Target Audience: Ideally suited for mid- to senior-level Supply Chain Management professionals or Mechanical Engineers transitioning into supply chain roles or engineers moving into Strategic Procurement.
Upon successful completion of the programme, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion issued by IIT Bombay.
The curriculum is divided into 7 comprehensive modules covering:
- Strategic Global Supply Chain Foundations
- Industry 4.0, AI/ML, and Blockchain in Supply Chains
- Global Logistics, Transportation, and Sourcing
- Supply Chain Finance and ROI Measurement
- Sustainability (ESG), Risk, and Resilience
- Leadership and Change Management
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Design resilient global supply chain networks that adapt to geopolitical uncertainties.
- Evaluate and implement digital technologies like AI, IoT, and Blockchain with an ROI-driven approach.
- Manage supply chains with a focus on sustainability and ethics.
- Lead cross-functional transformations and globally distributed teams.
Student performance is evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Class Participation and In-Class Exercises.
- Group Project and attendance.
- A minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory to successfully complete the programme.
The course is led by distinguished faculty:
- Prof. T. T. Niranjan: An expert in neuro-operations management and a founding member of the neurobehavioral lab at IIT Bombay.
- Prof. Omkar D. Palsule Desai: A specialist in Operations and Supply Chain Management with a research focus on sustainability and policy-making.
