The most recent lists published by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan include 17 categories this year in engineering, medicine, law, management, open universities, agriculture, and skill universities. Institutions of Delhi University were the top in the college category. Hindu College was the winner for the second consecutive year, and secondly came the Miranda House. Hans Raj College and Kirori Mal College were ranked in the top five for the first time, which indicated a change in hierarchy in the Delhi University. All in all, six out of seven higher-ranking colleges belonged to the capital.
